Siembra Nebraska provides internships for local high school and college students in environmental and agricultural sustainability, multimedia, business, construction, public health, and more. In the five different internship programs, interns are able to develop leadership skills through on-the-job experience and mentorship opportunities.

Thank you for showing interest in wanting to be a part of the Siembra Nebraska internship program. We are now accepting applications for our five different internship branches: Siembra Carreras, Siembra Construcción, Siembra Medios, Siembra Raíces, and Siembra Salud.

Application requirements
- Complete the ENTIRE application prior to submitting or exiting the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- You must be 16 years old (interns must be 16 years old by May 26, 2025) and no older than 21 years old to participate in the internship program.
- Your application requires a resume.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

How much do interns earn an hour?
Interns are paid $14.93 an hour.
How long is the internship program?
The internship program begins at the end of May and goes until the beginning of August.
Can I get college credit for this internship program?
This is dependent on your current school policy. For example, Bryan High School offers their agriculture students the opportunity to gain school credit for their internship. We are working on expanding the potential for credit and other extracurricular opportunities.
How old do you have to be to apply to the internship program?
For Siembra Carreras, Siembra Salud, and Siembra Raíces applicants need to be 16 years old by February 2025 to 21 years of age.
For Siembra Construcción and Siembra Medios, interns need to be 17 years old and older.
What will the work schedule be like?
Interns are allowed to work up to 30 hours per week. You’re day-to-day schedule will be agreed upon by your internship site host.
