During renovations, the Latino Center of the Midlands will temporarily relocate to 4937 S 24th Street, Omaha, NE 68107. All programs and services will continue without interruption.

Business hours remain Monday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with remote operations on Fridays.

What is happening at the Latino Center of the Midlands?

The Latino Center of the Midlands is embarking on a $9.5 million renovation and expansion of its South Omaha headquarters. This transformative project marks a major milestone in our continued growth and long-standing commitment to serving the community.

Why is this renovation and expansion taking place?

We’ve outgrown our current space. This expansion will allow us to better serve our clients, provide more comprehensive services, and grow our programming to meet the evolving needs of the South Omaha community.

What does the project include?

The project includes the renovation of our current headquarters and the full acquisition and integration of the adjacent FNBO building. Once complete, our total space will increase by 50%, enabling us to expand services, create new community spaces, and improve client access and experience.

When will construction begin and how long will it take?

Demolition is set to begin in May 2025 with construction expected to start August 2025. The relocation is set to take 18 months once building construction begins. More detailed timelines will be shared as the project progresses.
